Food Reviews & Customer Testimonials:

Reviews
Trio Restaurant has had a long standing tradition of good food at very affordable prices. It is this attention to quality and eye on good straight forward cooking that has afforded Trio Restaurant a tremendous following of loyal customers throughout it’s existence. It is a sentiment that is aptly expressed in an article written by John Rosson of The Washington Star. Click here to read the article.

But Trio Restaurant goes beyond just serving good food at good prices. It has been an anchor in the community. Long before the charm and prestige of what a Dupont Circle address carries in today’s real-estate market, Trio Restaurant has been here serving the community through thick and thin.  From the tough times of the race riots of the 60’s, the economic downturn of the 70’s, the 80’s & 90’s where so many neighborhoods in DC where just struggling to find an identity, and to the present day charm, safety, and urban appeal that has made Dupont Circle famous. Trio has been there. Trio Restaurant continues to be a lively and a central figure in the community as it serves patrons during the 17th Street High-heel race held every October during pre-Halloween activities. Or how Trio Restaurant plays host to various groups (e.g., book clubs, support groups, movie groups, professional clubs, social clubs, etc...) that come to Trio Restaurant to the bathe in the warmth of it’s deco inspired interiors, have a refreshing cocktail, and of course, a good and affordably priced meal.

See what patrons have to say about Trio Restaurant.  Trio Restaurant’s popularity is not only within the community but to people who come to DC and to people who have moved away from DC.

Back home there’s this restaurant where I go to and bring my family and everyone who works there knows us and our kids.  I like coming here to Trio because it makes me feel at home when I’m away from home.”

I have lived in DC for 6 years and Trio has been such a part of my daily life. I come here for breakfast and for dinner.  You can get practically anything that suits your mood -- and I like having a restaurant that appeals to all my various moods!
-- Q.L., 17th Street Resident, Washington, DC.

I’ve been impressed with the nightly specials. It’s gourmet food at such affordable prices -- I mean who else do you know around here that even does a good Beef Wellington?
-- J.P., 17th Street Resident, Washington, DC.

“I love an impromptu weekend breakfast with my friends at Trio's. It's so close and convenient that it's an easy spot to meet my Dupont friends and those silly people who live outside the District. We can hang out, catch up, and then go on to do some other fun thing, like the Dupont farmer's market or heading over to the Mall. “
-- S.R., P Street Resident, Washington, DC.
